The Role:
Our client is seeking a Project Controls System Analyst to join their team based in Perth on a 12 month contract, to provide ongoing support for the day to day use and running of the Project Controls application (PIMS) within the project. This includes functionality in Document, Cost, Risk, Interface, Workflow, Contract and Completion Management, and in other modules/workflows to be developed in the future.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure PIMS users have seamless and efficient use of the modules and workflows across all areas.
Ensure that selected PIMS modules are set up, implemented and utilised in accordance with the project requirements and in line with approved project procedures.
Evaluate, coordinate and develop improvement opportunities within the Project Controls application alongside Company Project personnel.
Conduct thorough UAT testing of enhancements and upgrades prior to implementation.
Provide support and conduct onboarding training as required for the project for Internal and External users.
Ensure all associated PIMS training material and documentation is valid, up-to-date and fit-for-purpose.
Assist in the development, modification, and maintenance of governing procedures and configuration documentation.
Develop, modify, and maintain reports in PIMS as required.
Creation of Purchase Requisitions in SAP which are streamed into PIMS.
Liaise with Project Controls Systems Coordinator and PIMS Engineer as required for changes/enhancements to PIMS proprietary software.
Coordinate and execute training for PIMS users, including site inductions, onboarding and other project utilised software.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
IM/IT experience in system administration, support and training in a major project and/or operating environment.
Previous experience with project controls systems in a major project and/or operating environment.
Previous experience in business requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving, understanding and users' needs.
Highly effective communication skills.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in Australian upstream oil and gas projects.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business or equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Previous experience with SAP / ERM systems.
